Paul & I went with our friends the Liljenquist's to the auction last night for the Festival of Trees. It was the first time we saw Ashley's tree. It was amazing & beautiful. I am sure Ashley loves it. It could not be more perfect! As you can see our friends went all out. Thanks to the Liljenquists and other neighbors who helped put this together and pull it off. Lots of love was put into this and it shows! They showed a close up of Ashley's picture and her tree on Fox news last night and then they interviewed Melanie & I this morning. After putting up our tree, with just one string of lights and only maybe 25 ornaments, I was beat! Too tired to do anything... so we all know how much effort energy and planning goes into a project like this!

It's amazing how beautiful Ashley's tree is in person!! Lexi had to go back to it three times before we left! We love you and miss Ashley!
I saw Ashley's tree today at the festival in person. It is TRULY fit for a princess. There were many beautiful trees there but Ashley's was absolutely breathtaking. I'm sure she loved it too.

How I wish Gracie and Ashley could have been friends! Gracie acts like she knows her even though they never met. Gracie was so touched by the tree. We loved it. Everyone did such an amazing job. It is perfect. You have been in my thoughts. We need to get together soon. Gracie is back in school on Monday. I will call you! :)

Hey! This is Laurie (Monson)Kunz. I don't know if you remember me from the 13th ward. I saw your blog randomly on Lindsey Pizza's blog.
The tree is beautiful and whoever gave it to you is an angel just like your little Ashley. I have thought of you guys often while you were going thru things with your daughter. I cried along with you when I read some of the ward email updates about her.
