We had a special delivery yesterday morning. My friend Melanie called me and asked me if she could come by and drop something off. A few minutes later I opened the door to find a huge Fed Ex truck and all these cars lined up down the street. Whoever bought Ashley's tree at the auction on Tues. night, turned around and gave the tree to us. We had no idea until yesterday. Amazing Right? I am not sure who exactly did this but words cannot describe how much this means to us. WOW! Now we will have Ashley's special tree forever. I could sit and stare at it all day! A million thanks to everyone involved with this. And if you didn't get the chance to go to the festival, drop by and see it! We would love to show it off!
Alice loves, loves, loves the Barbie Jeep, her big sis will be so proud of her when she is actually big enough to drive.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! I'm so thrilled about this! It's only fitting that you have that beautiful tree and I'm so moved by the good people that made it possible. Thank heavens for beautiful people like that. Can I come see it sometime this week? We were planning to go to the Festival Friday night and Bri had to work late. I'd love to see it in person.
Love you bunches.
What a wonderful blessing. I'm so happy for you and your family to enjoy this wonderful gift and have another way to remember sweet Ashley! Much love
Wow, people like that are inspiring. How nice to know that people are taking such good care of your family. I can picture Ash giggling as the delivery truck pulled up!

Em, that is so cool. My mom ran into your mom at church yesterday and she told my mom about the delivery, so my mom ran home and gave me a call. She and I were so excited for you! I'm glad that you will have it always now! What a treasure. Love you guys.

WOW!!! That is so sweet! What an awesome act of kindness! I am so glad you guys have that tree to keep and put up each year! I get so teary eyed when people do such nice things for other people. (You can imagine what happens when I see one of those LDS service commercials or any service commercial for that matter) :)
Anyway, that just makes me so happy and I'm sure you guys WAY happier.
Can't wait to see you in a few weeks! love ya!
Thats so amazing! I'll bet Ashley is so happy & is smiling down on you! You're right, she probably loves seeing Alice in the barbie jeep!
Oh, Em! There is no one more deserving to have that tree in their home than you and Paul. There really are angels on earth, aren't there! We may have to make a trip over to see it. I'm glad you can enjoy it now in your own home! Love ya!
WOW, Christmas is such an amazing time of year, it's amazing to see the best of people. I say keep it up all year round in Ashley's room. It would match perfect! That Melanie is amazing, I bet Ashley guided her every step of the way! Now Alice, Merry chirstmas to you girlfriend. Nice ride, you cruise by any time and pick up your man.....He would die for a ride.
I still hear the songs.
I still see the lights.
I still feel your love
On cold wintry nights.
I still share your hopes
And all of your cares,
I'll even remind you
To still say your prayers.
I just want to tell you,
You still make me proud.
You stand head and shoulders
Above the crowd.
Keep trying each moment
To stay in His grace.
I came here before you
To help set up your place.
You don't have to be perfect
All of the time.
He forgives you the slip
If you continue the climb.
I found this poem, maybe you'd like it:
To my family and friends
Please be thankful today
I'm still close beside you
In a new special way.
I love you all dearly,
Now don't shed a tear
Cause I'm spending my Christmas
With Jesus this year.
